What is hangtag?
A hangtag is the card tag attached to the outside of a garment with a string, plastic swift tag or safety pin, carrying the brand, a price, a size, a barcode or a short story. It is the retail finishing touch that makes a garment look ready for a shelf.
Why it matters
For a brand selling online it is the unboxing; for wholesale it is the price and barcode a retailer needs. It is also where 'Made in Pakistan' can be told as a story rather than hidden.
On our floor
