Vibrant, durable and cost-effective

In screen printing, ink is pushed through a fine mesh screen onto the garment, one screen per colour. That setup is why the method rewards volume: the cost of preparing screens is fixed, so the per-piece price falls sharply as quantities rise.

It also produces a finish other methods cannot match on cotton. The ink sits properly on the fabric with real opacity — bright colours stay bright on dark garments, which is exactly where digital methods tend to struggle.

The trade-off is colour count. Every additional colour means another screen, so a photographic, many-coloured design is usually better suited to DTF or DTG. For bold, flat artwork in a handful of colours across a few hundred pieces, nothing beats it on price or durability.

Puff printing

The ink expands under heat to create a raised, tactile finish. A bold, retro effect that works particularly well on heavyweight cotton and streetwear.

High density (3D) printing

Thick layers of ink build a sharp, raised edge with a defined vertical wall. More precise than puff, and effective for logos that need to read as premium.

Glow in the dark printing

Phosphorescent ink that charges under light and glows in darkness. Popular for event merchandise, festival wear and campaign pieces.

CMYK screen printing

Four-colour process printing that reproduces photographic and gradient artwork using cyan, magenta, yellow and black screens rather than one screen per colour.

Foil printing
