What a premium blank actually means
The word gets used loosely, so here is what we mean by it: a compact knit that holds its shape, two-ply twisted yarn for density, ribbed trims that recover, side seams rather than tubular bodies, and consistent gsm from the first piece to the last.
That last point is the one that catches people out. A blank bought cheaply is often consistent within a carton and inconsistent across them. If you are printing a run of 500 and the fabric weight shifts halfway through, the print will sit differently — and the customer will blame the print.

Every blank in the table above, undecorated. Each opens the garment's own page with its specification and views.
Buying blanks from a manufacturer
Most blank suppliers are distributors. They buy from a mill, warehouse it and sell it on, which means the specification is whatever the mill decided and cannot be changed. We make the garment, so the specification is a starting point: change the weight, the fit, the trims, the label position.
It also means you can start with blanks and move into fully custom cut-and-sew later without changing supplier, and without your product changing shape between the two.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the minimum order for blanks?
- 50 pieces per design, mixed across sizes and colours.
- Can I order a sample before bulk?
- We produce a sample free of charge with any production order, once the production deposit is received. If you want a sample before committing, we can do that too — but we have to charge for it.
- Can you supply blanks with my neck label already in?
- Yes. Woven neck labels, printed care labels and hangtags can all be applied before the blanks ship, so what you receive is already your product.
- Do you sell single pieces?
- No. Our minimum is 50 pieces per design. For very small quantities, our print-on-demand service is the better route.
- How fast can you supply?
- We can move as fast as 7–10 days on a straightforward run. More involved work — cut-and-sew from scratch, several decoration methods, or bespoke fabric — usually runs 10–14 working days. You are told which at quote stage, not afterwards.
