When print-on-demand is the right choice
If you are testing a design, running a small event, or need a handful of samples before a bulk order, print-on-demand makes sense. There is no setup cost and no minimum on selected items, so a run of five costs five times a run of one.
Where it stops making sense is volume. Print-on-demand carries a higher cost per piece because nothing is batched — every garment is handled individually. Past roughly 50 pieces, bulk production with screen printing or DTF will be materially cheaper, and we will tell you when you have crossed that line rather than quietly taking the order.

- Is there really no minimum?
- On selected stock items, yes — you can order a single piece. Custom garments, custom colours and cut-and-sew all carry our standard 50-piece minimum.
- What file should I send?
- A PNG or PDF at 300dpi at the size you want it printed, with a transparent background. If you only have a screenshot or a logo from a website, send it anyway and we will tell you honestly whether it will print well.
- How is print-on-demand priced?
- Per piece, with no setup fee. The price depends on the garment and the print size. Send us the design and the garment and we will quote it.
- When should I switch to bulk?
- Around 50 pieces. At that point screen printing or bulk DTF costs less per piece even after setup, and you get the full range of garments and decoration methods.
- How fast is it?
- Small print-on-demand runs typically ship within a few days. Bulk production runs to the standard lead time.
