What is cotton?

Cotton is the natural fibre behind tees, hoodies, polos and most everyday garments — soft, breathable, absorbent, and the fibre DTG and discharge printing need. Quality comes from staple length (longer is finer), spinning (ring-spun over open-end) and preparation (combed over carded).

Why it matters

Pakistan is the world's fourth-largest cotton grower, and the crop is spun and knitted within a few hundred kilometres of our factory. That is why a heavyweight cotton tee costs $10–13 to make in Lahore and $18–25 in the West.

On our floor

Ring-spun Punjab cotton in jersey and fleece from 140 to 550 gsm. Organic and BCI-certified cotton on request for private-label runs.

Common questions

Is Pakistani cotton good?
Pakistan is a major grower and its mills supply brands worldwide. Quality depends on the yarn and mill, which is why we specify ring-spun and check every roll.
Cotton or polyester?
Cotton for feel, everyday wear and DTG; polyester for sport, easy care and sublimation; blends for uniforms.
Does cotton shrink?
A little, even when compacted — usually 3 to 5% on the first wash, which our patterns allow for. Washing cold minimises it.
Can I get organic cotton?
Yes — GOTS-certified organic and BCI cotton are available for private-label orders.
