What is ring-spun cotton?
Ring-spun cotton is yarn made by continuously twisting and thinning the cotton fibres into a fine, strong, smooth thread. Compared with open-end spinning — faster and cheaper, with a coarser yarn — ring-spun fabric is softer, more durable and takes print more cleanly.
Why it matters
It is the difference between a tee that feels soft on day one and one that feels soft after fifty washes. Every blank in our range is ring-spun; combed ring-spun is a step further.
On our floor
Our jersey is knitted from ring-spun Punjab cotton at mills near Faisalabad. Yarn count — 24/1 for a 200 gsm tee, heavier counts for 270 — is on every product page.

- Is ring-spun better than regular cotton?
- Than open-end cotton, yes — softer, stronger and smoother. 'Regular' usually means open-end.
- What is combed ring-spun?
- Ring-spun yarn from cotton that was combed first to remove short fibres — smoother again.
- Does ring-spun cost more?
- Slightly, at the yarn stage. It is standard in any blank we would put a brand's label in.
- Does it print better?
- Yes — the smoother surface takes DTG and screen print more evenly.
