Internationally, courier — DHL, FedEx — is the default for orders up to a couple of cartons and takes three to seven days to the UK, US, Canada, Australia and the Gulf; sea freight is quoted where the quantity makes it worthwhile, typically from a few hundred pieces, and takes weeks rather than days. A carton of 50 hoodies weighs about 40 kg; a carton of 50 tees about 12 kg — which is why the shipping line on a tee order is small and on a hoodie order is not.

For export orders the quote states the duty rate for your destination and the tariff line, in money per piece. Some markets are duty-free for Pakistani garments — the UK and the EU under their trade preference schemes — and others are not: around 5% into the Gulf and Australia, 18% into Canada, 16.5% and up into the US depending on fibre. Import VAT or GST is a separate line and is usually recoverable if your business is registered. If you want one delivered price with nothing to pay on arrival, ask for DDP terms; if you have your own forwarder, ask for FOB Karachi.
