How do you check quality before shipping?

Against the approved sample, at every stage, and every piece at the end. Fabric is checked on arrival for weight and shade — a roll ordered at 500 gsm that weighs 470 goes back. The first pieces off every station are checked before the run continues. And every finished garment is inspected before it is folded and polybagged: seams, measurements, decoration, label. You see photographs from the floor at cutting, decoration and packing.

Where the checks sit

The approved sample is the standard; each stage is checked against it before the next begins.

  1. Fabric on arrival

Weight, shade against the lab dip or stock swatch, and a wash test on request. Rolls that miss go back to the mill.

  2. After cutting

Pieces measured against the pattern; the size breakdown counted against the order.

  3. First off the press or the heads

The first prints or stitch-outs of the run compared with the approved strike-off or sample before the run continues.

  4. After sewing

Seam strength, stitch density, bar tacks, measurements per size against the tech pack tolerance.

  5. Final inspection

Every garment, individually: decoration, seams, label, loose threads, measurement. Then folded, size-stickered, polybagged and cartoned by size.

  6. Before dispatch

Photographs of packed cartons and the packing list, matched to the carton marks, sent with the balance invoice.

What you can ask for

A size-set sample — one of each size — before any cut-and-sew run, so grading is checked on real garments. A wash test on the sample for uniform and private-label orders. A physical sample in hand rather than a photograph for colour-critical work. And any measurement tolerance you need written into the tech pack, so the inspection has a number to check against.

If something is still wrong

Photograph it and send it to us. We look at it against the approved sample and tell you what happened and what we will do about it. Every piece is checked precisely so that this conversation is rare.
