How do reorders work, and will they cost the same?
Everything from the first order stays on file — the pattern and grading, the artwork and separations, the digitising, the colour recipe or lab dip, the label artwork — so a reorder skips sampling and carries no setup. Tell us the quantity and sizes and it goes straight to production. The per-piece price follows the quantity you reorder and the rate sheet at the time; setup items are not charged again.
What is kept, and for how long
Patterns, artwork files, digitising and dye recipes are held for as long as you order — they are yours, and they are not used for anyone else. Screens are re-exposed from the kept separations, which is why a reorder of a screen-printed design carries a small screen charge rather than the full setup. Woven labels are ordered in batches and the surplus is held for your next run.
Why a reorder might not be the same price
Three honest reasons. Quantity: a reorder of 50 is priced at 50, and a reorder of 200 at 200, whatever the first order was. Fabric: cotton and freight costs move, and the rate sheet moves with them; a quote states the price at the time. Changes: a new colour needs a lab dip, a new placement needs a new screen. What does not change is the setup you already paid for, and that usually makes a reorder cheaper per piece than the first order at the same quantity.
Reorders of an approved design can be smaller
Because the setup has been absorbed, we can often take a reorder below the usual 50 — a top-up of 30 pieces is normal — and it can often be faster than the first run, since there is no sampling. Say when you need it and we will tell you if it can be done in the 7–10 days a straightforward run takes.
