Can you make a garment from a sample I send you?

Yes — it is the most common way a cut-and-sew order starts without a tech pack. Send the garment whose fit you want, tell us what to keep and what to change, and we measure it, draft a pattern from it, grade it to your size range and make a pre-production sample for approval. The pattern is then yours, held on file for reorders.

What we take from it, and what we do not

The fit: every measurement, the shape of the pieces, the construction — how the hood is lined, where the pocket sits, how the hem is finished. That is what you are sending it for. What we do not do is copy another brand's artwork, label or distinctive branded details; the garment is a fit reference, and the product we make is yours. Tell us the changes as you send it — a longer body, a wider neck rib, a heavier fabric — and the first sample includes them.

How it runs

From the parcel arriving to a sample in your hands.

  1. Send the garment

By courier to the factory, with notes on what to keep and what to change, and your size range.

  2. Measure and pattern

Every measurement taken; a pattern drafted for the base size in about a week.

  3. Grade

Scaled to every size in your range by set increments; checked on a size-set sample if you want one.

  4. Sample

Made in the fabric you choose, with your decoration and label, photographed or couriered. Changes are made and it is remade until approved.

  5. Production

10–14 working days from the approved sample, from 50 pieces, 30 per stock colour.

  6. Your garment back

Returned with the sample, or with the order.

Fabric

We match the reference garment's fabric from our range — its weight and construction — or improve on it: many brands send a 350 gsm hoodie and ask for the same fit in 500. A swatch or a blank sample of the fabric can be approved before the pattern is cut.
