Can I change my order after approving the sample?

Small changes, usually yes, before cutting begins. Once fabric is cut the quantity and the specification are fixed, because the pieces have been cut to them — so we confirm both with you at that point, in writing, before the table is laid.

What can change, and until when

Between sample approval and cutting there is a short window in which the size breakdown, the label text, the packing instructions and the delivery address can still change without cost. Artwork can change too, though a new screen or a new digitising file carries its own setup again. What cannot change without a new run is the garment itself, its fabric or its colour, because those were settled — and in the case of a custom dye, already dyed — at sample stage.

Once the marker is made and the fabric is cut, every piece exists in a size and a colour. A size change after that point is a new cut, and a quantity increase is a new run — small, but a run, with its own minimum. That is not stubbornness; it is what cutting means.

What we do to make changes unnecessary

The sample is the last point where changes are cheap, which is why we would rather you were fussy there than disappointed later. We photograph it, or ship it, and ask for approval in writing. We confirm the size breakdown and the final quantity separately before cutting. If something is still uncertain — a launch date that may move, a size mix you are guessing at — say so, and we will hold the cut until it is not.

Related questions

Can I add pieces after ordering?
Before cutting, yes. After cutting it is a new run, and we quote it as one.
Can I change sizes after cutting?
No — the marker and the cut were made for the breakdown you gave. Changing it means re-cutting.
Can I change the artwork after the sample?
Before screens are made or digitising is done, yes at no cost; after that, the setup is charged again.
What if I do not approve the sample?
We remake it with the changes. Nothing is cut until a sample is approved.
