College and university merchandise: what to make, and what it costs

Societies, batches, departments, sports teams and the university itself all order merch, and they all order it the same wrong way the first time — too many designs, too few pieces, a print that fades by exam season. We make merch for universities across Pakistan and abroad. Here is what students actually buy, how to run the order, and what it costs.

What students actually buy

The hoodie. Every year, every institution. A 500 gsm classic or oversized hoodie in a dark colour with the crest or society name on the chest and something bolder on the back. It is the item that gets worn for four years and the one that carries the university's name off campus.

The batch tee. A heavyweight 270 gsm tee with the year, the programme and every name on the back — the design that changes annually and sells to the whole cohort at once.

The society sweatshirt. A crewneck for drama, debating, engineering, the medical society — smaller runs, more designs, ordered by committees on a budget.

Sports kit. Sublimated jerseys and training tees for inter-university competition, names and numbers included.

Graduation and alumni. A premium embroidered polo or quarter-zip for the leaving class; a cap for open days.

How to run a society or batch order

One garment, one design, one order of 50 or more. The most common mistake is five designs at 15 pieces each — five setups, five small runs, and a per-piece price that makes the committee wince. Fifty of one hoodie costs less per piece than fifteen each of three.

Collect sizes before ordering, not after. A batch tee with names on the back is one order regardless of how many names, because DTF prints each piece from its own file — but every piece needs a size against the name. A shared sheet with name, size and payment collected in advance is how the orders that go smoothly are run.

Choose the decoration for the design, not the budget. A one-colour crest on 200 hoodies is a screen print. Sixty names on the back of a tee is DTF. A society logo that will be reordered for years is embroidery. We recommend on the quote.

What university merch costs

From our current rate sheet at the 50-piece minimum: a 500 gsm hoodie with a one-colour chest print around $32.50 and with an embroidered crest around $33; a 270 gsm batch tee with a full-back DTF design around $16.50; a crewneck around $26; a sublimated jersey around $16–18. All fall with quantity — the hoodie is under $27 at 200.

A society of 60 ordering hoodies collects around $35 per member and lands the order at $32.50 plus shipping; the difference funds the next event. The calculator gives the exact number for any garment and design.

University merch from Lahore, for Pakistan and abroad

We make merch for universities, colleges and schools across Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi — societies, batches, departments and campus shops — and for Pakistani student societies at universities in the UK, Canada and Australia, who order from home at a fraction of the local price and ship in one carton. Everything is made in our own unit in Lahore.

Minimum 50 pieces, mixed sizes; 30 per colour. As fast as 7–10 days on stock hoodies and tees from approved artwork — which matters when the order is for an event in three weeks. Committee-friendly: one quote, one invoice, one delivery.

Common questions

What is the minimum order for university hoodies?
50 pieces, mixed sizes, 30 per colour. Most society orders are 50–100.
Can we put every student's name on the back?
Yes. With DTF, every piece prints from its own file, so 100 tees with 100 different names is one order at the same per-piece price.
How much does a society hoodie cost?
Around $32.50 per hoodie at 50 pieces with a one-colour chest print, under $27 at 200, from our current rate sheet. The calculator gives the live figure.
How quickly can you deliver for an event?
7–10 days from approved artwork on stock hoodies and tees, plus shipping. Tell us the event date on the enquiry and we will confirm.
Can we order several designs?
Yes, but each design is its own setup and its own 50. One design at 100 costs less per piece than two at 50. We will show you both prices.
Do you make sports kits for university teams?
Yes — sublimated jerseys, shorts and training tees with names, numbers and crests, from 50 pieces across the squad.
Do you ship to Pakistani student societies abroad?
Yes — regularly to the UK, Canada and Australia. One carton, tracked, with duties quoted up front.
Can the university shop reorder the same design?
Yes, indefinitely. Artwork, screens and embroidery files are held; reorders from 50 run at the same price or lower.
