Will I see the design before it is made?

Your artwork on the garment you are ordering, in the colour you are ordering, at the size and position it will print or stitch — measured from a seam, not eyeballed. For screen print it shows the colour separation; for embroidery it shows the digitised stitch preview once digitising is done. If a design will not reproduce well at the size you want — text too small to stitch, a JPG too soft for a back print — this is where we say so, with what we would need to fix it.

A mockup is a picture; a sample is the product. It shows the hand of the fabric, the actual thread or ink colour against the actual garment colour, the feel of a puff print or a discharge print, how the fit sits. It is photographed and sent, or couriered to you if you want it in hand, and it is approved in writing before any fabric is cut for bulk. For custom colours a lab dip — a swatch dyed to your Pantone — is approved before bulk dyeing in the same way.

Approval in writing is the point of no cheap return: once the sample is approved and fabric is cut, the specification is fixed. Which is why we would rather you were fussy at mockup and sample stage than disappointed later, and why we confirm the size breakdown and the final quantity separately before cutting.
